I'm just saying, it ain't perfect....
Perfect, no, but close enough to be very effective. For the few moments it was on screen, we got to see a T1 looking T-800 fight, and even if not a dead match to Arnie's face, I thought it was a very realistic job on the CGI of the face.
Marcus is a T-RIP, a Resistance. Infiltrator. Prototype. He is a one of a kind!
T-800, Arnies model, would be used after Marcus get data for Skynet.

Is this Arnold T-800 the same T-800 sent to the past? or its just the same model?
Pretty sure it's just the first T-800 ever made with the living tissue exterior.
They say it's the exact same Terminator that will kill Kyle in 1984! It makes the film more mouth watering for me, as I have not seen it yet!

I assumed it was the one supposed to kill John that ends up coming back in T3.

And really, for me, if the film doesn't declare it, then it takes away any value. Someone outside the movie can say it's this or that all day long, but in the end, what's on screen is what's on screen and is only as meaningful as what's there in the movie.
Haven't seen it yet but doesn't it get destroyed? How could it be the same one that goes to 1984? The filmmakers just decided to go for Arnie's T1 look with this one.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing? I figured it was suppose to be Connor.
It's Marcus, Skynet was showing him the T-800 going after Connor and that's to show it bothering him even though his programming was to help make it all happen.
I'm sure they'll show him eventually if indeed it does go ahead as a trilogy. I'd like to see the T2 pair being sent back through time aswell.
There are several shots of Marcus that don't look like him I found, like one shot from the trailers, if you haven't seen the movie, of them carrying him into the hospital when they find out he's a Terminator, and his head is thrashing about on a medical table, I thought from the trailers it was a completely different person.
