What's your point, that's what I was getting at. Maybe I didn't use enough words, but my point was, Stallone's been busted in his 60's using it, with no evidence if he ever did in his youth, Arnold used stuff in his prime.

I still don't believe in using the stuff and it dissappoints, but from what I've heard, Stallone's build is just not possible at his age without help, but surely someone of Arnold's build in his prime could achieve that with hard work and discipline without using drugs.

No. Any body builder who uses HGH/Steroids, once they stop they lose considerable definition to the point that they begin to look more fat than buff. Vince Macmahon is a good example of that: He took steroids in the 80's and was big as hell, and now even though he routinely works out etc. while he's by no means overweight, he's not buff anymore either i.e. he looks nothing like Stallone in the new Rambo/Rocky films. So even with Arnolds "build in his prime" plus "hard work and discipline" without the help of drugs it's just impossible to look even remotely like that now at his age.

As much as I don't believe in using it period, I'm more ok with Stallone using it now as the only proven use of it as at an age where it's impossible to look the way he wants to without the assistance, where Arnold used them in his prime and that bothers me utterly because I'm sure what he achieved back in the day was doable without them, just would require more work, etc. but it wasn't used. I'm very against using roids and HGH and whatever when a natural means is possible, like I said, i'm forgiving with Stallone because as far as I've heard from people even in medical world or fitness training, it's just impossible at his age, no matter how much work he did, it couldn't be done, so it's more like surgery to fix something to allow you to go on with a part of your life.

No I get what you're saying.. but you seem to be under the impression that Arnolds build during his body building days was somehow possible with hard work etc. and without the assistance of drugs and I'm telling you flat out it isn't.

I'm keeping my expectations at 'realistic.' Can't always trust a director for good or for worse. For instance, Terry Gilliam has made some not so great directing choices, but has made some truly classic films.

so far, so good. decent to good acting seen sofar, which is good and bad since we haven't seen the worst that can be offered nor the best.

The thing I'm most excited about is the visual aesthetics and not because I'm interested in just the surface but because at this point that's all I'm certain of. Everything seems so reminiscent of Mad Max's barren look and after seeing the t-600 lumber around without any apparent CGI, I'm looking forward to the less spectacular fights for what I hope to be a sort of steam-punk esque grittiness.

On the roids subject, if somebody is trying to entertain me and be super human like Stallone, or some wrestler, or Arnold, or even a jock, I don't have a problem with them taking anything. Nothing but the law stopping somebody else from rising to the same level of super human performance. If it is what they need to make them impress the hell out of me, and they are okay with living fast and dying young, more power to them. I miss the musclehead days. It's good to see some of it coming back. That's entertainment.
