as an overall Marvel PF statue, this is how I rate my favorite 3 marvel PF:

1. Doom PF - the details on his throne is crazy sculpted. The paint application on his eyes and his hidden gun really amazed me.

2. Capt. America PF - the sculpt of the base and the details on his anatomy is phenomenal. Just look at Squider's pic to know what I am talking about.

3. Green Goblin PF - the texturing details are just too crazy.

Here is my exclusive and it is fine. The magnets are plenty strong and the shield is nowhere near his leg. As I told you in a previous thread, you just have to make sure the fabric from the arm isn't in the hole for the hand peg to prevent a proper fit.

Yup. Mine doesn't rest on the leg either, but there is not as much of a gap between the leg and shield as yours. I don't think it's a question of the magnets being strong, but rather how they lock in place.

edit: if your look at the part that actually locks into Cap's arm--the part with the magnet-- it looks as if it has been "hand carved" in orer to fit. This would lead a variety in how the shields fit.

Cap is still the best PF to date IMO. Even better than Doom as far as I'm concerned.

I'm not even a huge Cap fan, but the Cap PF is probably the highlight of my collection! One day I may fork over the cash to add Doom, but for now I'll patiently wait for Thor.

I recently got the Goblin PF at a show and I have to agree . . . I am surprised it is not more popular . . .

It is just beautiful . . . (my camera sucks . . . and so does the photographer)

So, in true Shai fashion, I've changed my mind again and decided to keep my Cap PF. It arrived with a broken wing and the seller refunded me $100. I can fix it with some glue and I don't think you'll be able to tell.

Since I have the exc. Thor PF on preorder, I decided to just pickup the Avengers PF issues. Although I do miss The Thing.....

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!.....It's tucked back in there....I'm such a klutz I'm afraid I'll never get it back in again or I'll do damage trying to get it out. Best to keep it exactly where it is.
