You guys won't believe what ALMOST happened to me. Being Friday, UPS doesn't deliver weekends and I'm leaving this weekend so I have been going downstairs every 15 min to look for the truck hoping not to miss it... because if I did, I wouldn't get this guy until the 28th.
My building is really old, built in 1929 originally as a hotel and it has no intercom system so the door is locked most of the time...
3:30, 3:45 after 4 no truck. I ran out quickly, for five minutes, to run an errand, then returned to the building and saw a UPS guy wheeling a dolly down the block. I followed him to a UPS truck a block away, checked and learned they were just at my Bldg and attempted delivery but it was locked!
Anyway, grabbed Ben right then and there, just as the sun went down. Whoa! THAT was close!
Anyway waaay to dark but I snapped a few shots and IF they came out, I'll post on the other thread, if not, tomorrow.
BOTTOM LINE: When I opened the box to get a first look at him I said "Oh My God" out loud! That almost never happens with my hypercritical eye. It looks like a live Human Figure. It is a masterpiece sculpt and paint apps, so kudos to Sideshow, this has so much character I can't describe it. Of course the elbows were locked and it has the typical Buck body deficiencies, but besides that, it is an incredible piece.
It is a 10 Sculpt. Many Thanks to Trevor Grove.
