So much is said about the PF vs Com and I honestly don't quite understand it. These 2 formats represent two totally different time frames & art technologies imho. It is called Evolution of characters.
"You can draw Marvel characters" says it perfectly: "Spider-man debuted over 40 years ago it was common for comic-book Super heroes to be drawn in more realistic proportions. Over the years, his size and physical stature increased. As more time passed, his poses became more 'bug-like' to emphasize the uniqueness that is pure Spidey!"
This goes for all characters. Most of us grew up with the retro looking characters and therefore we love them (or most of us). On the other hand you gotta love the current art trends and the way things are changing. I do!! Which one you like better could well depend on your age, art taste, IQ, etc
