good point, also the paint on your damaged hulk really did look like ____, hope you get a good one.

hell ask them to send you a reg even at a discount and then just peal off the label on the bottom and switch them. that way you should be good as you'd still have the original box and shipper etc. and with the EX. label no one will know.

Thanks man, I hope I hear back from SS tomorrow on it...the wait is killing me. That idea would work, however the EX art sticker on the bottom has "Sideshow" spelt wrong . Even though you dont see it.....it still buggs me. Im a perfectionist and just knowing that its there will cause me to lose sleep at night

Well, mine arrived a day early! Got #297. All I can say is WOW! If you are a Hulk fan and don't own this piece...then you aren't a Hulk fan. This thing is ridiculous! Best Hulk sculpt by SSC ever. He is HUGE!

I will say, my cousin owns the PF and I was able to look over that piece very closely. While it is not my cup of tea, the paint apps on the PF are better than the comiquette. I'm into the darker green color that was used on the PF and the Hulk vs Surfer dio.

That being said, the comiquette still looks great. This is THE Hulk statue I wanted in my SSC display. It was a long wait for my SSC Hulk statue...it was well worth it.

Now I need SSC to get on a modern Thor and classic Cap comiquette and I will be a happy camper.

Speaking of the hulk (obviously) does anyone think we will actually get a hulk movie, by which i mean a movie that features Hulk's character equally or more on-screen as bruce banner?...

Instead of "the incredible hulk" they shouldve called the last one "the boring bruce banner" Hulk had probably less than ten minutes screen time.

sideshow is full of BS. Last week they said their were 15 exclusives left in stock and tonight their little inventory meter shows at least 25 still available. I am getting sick and tired of their deceptive marketing. Does anyone else find this disturbing? It makes me not trust the company.

Somewhere in the corner of my mind I feel that they should make the next Hulk statue more like florescent green and more heavy and bulky with a well balanced head size with its body. Electric Hulk or Neon Hulk will sound interesting. And give him some more aggressive pose so that when you look at it you feel the immense strength he possess.

I would send Sideshow an e-mail saying that their factory workers got poop on your statue and that you want a new one.

Send them shots of the 2 different paint jobs and ask them to inspect your replacement before they ship it out.

No. Because when Hulk is on screen he is usually destroying something and that costs money. And if you have a film were Hulk is on screen alot and no "Hulk Smash" then you have boring Hulk instead of Boring Banner.


I thought the last Hulk film almost did it right. It could have given the Hulk about 5 - 10 min more screen time and that would have been perfect. But I am a pretty big fan of that film. It's my fav comic film after The Darl Knight.

I am seriously considering getting him. It seems that he is selling out fast because only a few website's still have him for sale. I think I may have to sell both my Koto Rulk and Hulk to get him though. I love both those statues, but the Comiquette wins.

I would, but apparently she's the only one who handles returns. I understand their busy catching up on work for the past 5 days. But I think I should be near the top of the list at least. As theirs the same issues with practically everything I've ordered from them. This piece in particular is the worst I've received to date. With issues that some how passed QC that boggle my mind. So all they can say is wait we'll get around to you eventually. The last replacement I had sent to me took a month and a half because somone forgot to ship it out. This is getting rediculous and extreamly frustrating! Is it to much to ask to get what I paid for....just once, the first time!

I totally agree. King's is pretty damn perfect looking. If mine arrives anywhere close to that I'll be happy as hell. If it looks like some slacker with an eye patch got a hold of it at the end of an 18 hour work day, I just may have to try to get a replacement.
