I think the piece is awesome overall.
Not a big fan of the hair, but thats not really the sculptor's fault in any way shape or form. They were interpreting the reference art.
Dont mind the smaller head either.

Like I mentioned on the other forum, I think this piece looks awesome. If I didn't have carnage/spiderman on po, I would have already made the order. I love the way it was sculpted. I'm not too familiar with the different hulk styles out there so maybe that is why it doesn't bother me as much as a lot of the others? But, to me, this hulk looks like it has a lot of 'life' in it (pose / expression on his face / overall sculpting of it).
One thing I'm getting tired of though is having prints for exclusives, especially these kind... Either make them worth displaying, or go a different route such as switch-out parts or color variants or something

I hear you Fuzzy...but here is the thing. IMHO the majority of folks posting in this thread....heck the people that frequent this forum on a regular basis, do not represent the majority. These forums represent the "super" fans of Sideshow Collectibles. These forums represent the viewpoints of folks willing to pay thousands of dollars for multiple pieces of Sideshow products. I don't think this forum represents the average comics/statue/figures/bust consumer...quite frankly I believe this forum speaks to a smaller subset of Sideshow's demographics....the super collectors. For the super collector this stuff is our passion, we love buying multiple pieces, we love buying variants, we will pay for custom pieces, we belief their should be a national holiday for the man who created the Detolf shelf, we will spend ungodly amounts of cash and max out credit cards to pursue this hobby.
Obviously Sideshow wants to appeal to the super collectors, but simultaneously they are targeting a larger portion of their customer base that simply loves the Hulk. These are folks who may occassionally make a big purchase like this for their favorite character. They have a few pieces here and there. These folks don't post religiously to forums like this, they won't spend hours debating thing such as the hair cut or how inferior it is to the PF Hulk, they don't freak out and make comments such as "how could SS do this to us" or "what's wrong with Sideshow". They don't spend time counting how many grails they have.
I don't mean to offend anyone, I sometimes like to think about things from a business perspective more than a collector's perspective.

I agree with you. I only started getting serious about collecting within the last 9-10 months. But when I look back at some of the really popular SS pieces I saw really cool exclusive items. Nowadays, the exclusives seem to lack that "cool" or "I gotta have that" feeling.

Art prints are awesome.If you dont like them you obviously are not a true comic fan wich makes you an homosexual IMO.
Nothing complements more a statue than an art print in the background created by amazing comic artists specially for the piece.
