I've got a mass truck of stuff coming, paying on 20 items at once, so here comes the MOTHER LOAD!!!

Re: Sideshow/ Olivetti - Venom Comiquette

Hey all, just got my Venom and he looks fantastic. I love the detail that SS put into this piece. But I have a small problem which I was hoping someone could help me out with...The foot with the peg does not sink completely down into the base. I cleaned out the hole for the peg but there's still about a quarter inch of the block attached to his foot visible. I'm pretty new to SS and don't want to test the sturdiness of the statue by wiggling it into place. Any thoughts or suggestions from anyone who had a similar issue?

Thanks all!

yep, had it not go completely in the hole, once you know its partially in there, wiggle away, should sink in.

Try putting a toothpick or pin into the hole and measure it, then the put to find out how deep the hole is so you can tell if it's the depth or the width that is the problem. If it's too small then you may have to widen it which may be easier than making the hole deeper.
