I was in the same boat of indecision not so long ago Power, but when he finally arrived I was so glad I got him, it's one of those pieces you really need to see first hand to appreciate.

A word of warning from a female perspective tho.. my wife doesn't like him and likes my BIB Spidey more.

I was in the same boat of indecision not so long ago Power, but when he finally arrived I was so glad I got him, it's one of those pieces you really need to see first hand to appreciate.

A word of warning from a female perspective tho.. my wife doesn't like him and likes my BIB Spidey more.

I have a feeling i will be in the Exact same boat if i got the chance to bring Venom home, i mean i don't think she would care but i like Statues that size to have more of a "clean" look to them, Venom just seems to be all over the place....which i know is true to the Character but i just don't now how he would look with the rest of my collection.

Yeah, that's what I like about him, he's not made of clean lines but instead the tendrils and bodywork ooze out everwhere, even so there is a distinct order to his form and none of it seems out of place. Definitely not smooth but a really good representation of his character. You'll be blown away by the size of his musculature and arms, look at the size of his muscles next to Punisher, they are massive and so warped. Also many of the shots seem to imbue a shiny texture to him (which I didn't like from pics), but in person it's a lot less like that and he's alot more dull matte imo. It's really hard to describe, and one of those pieces you have to see in real life.

I think he looks badass next to anything tho', especially scalewise.... too big next to black cat.. hey he's hulking venom! Too small next to PFs?...well that's cos he's bent over and the girth of his arm makes up for it. He looks especially good next to my BIB Spidey because of the matching color and instead of smooth lines it's chaotic ooziness.

Definitely one of my fav sculpts.

I don't know the diff but I don't care, I say "you want that ok", here we go this should buy me a few more months...

Isn't that a load of poo... we get to keep our stuff if we buy them more stuff. At least my girl is addicted to purses/shoes instead of diamonds. She just got to pick out her Coach bag birthday gift in exchange for a 1:2 endo and 1:2 IM on either side of the living room plasma.

I just snagged one, I'm pretty pumped! Didn't think the print was worth an extra $80-100 though. Guess I am not elitist enough.
Was thinking about this or the Punisher, and Venom came out on top!

if i had to choose between the two of them it would 100% be venom, not only because i'm a spidey freak but venom is that much better of a piece imo.
