Well, it looks like I finally managed to pick one of these up for my collection. Got a Venom EX marvel sample off a member here. I can't wait until it shows up. I have tried so many times to score this piece in the past...only to have the deals fall apart. It looks like the battle is finally over. Should have him here by Saturday. This is the most I have ever spent on a statue but I can't even begin to say how excited I am to finally secure this bad ass piece.

It is one of the nicest statues out there. Actually all three are truly great (spidey - venom - carnage).
Certainly the best venom statue out there...

I don't know if you guys have been paying attention to the Carnage comiquette, but it has been getting up there in price as of late. This trio looks and feels like it's going to be a huge success on the aftermarket. Which is not the surprise, but better yet the Carnage up swing that it's starting to take.

Yeah this trio to me is the best Sideshow set ever. Carnage is one of the best deals that I got, I got it for $235 shipped new from retailer

I hope we are going to get more Spidey villains, I want Doc Ock or Lizard, but I guess we gonna get Rhino first.

I'm curious what scale Rhino will be. I'm not a big fan of his character, as much as I am his overall look, but I'll definitely get it if the style and scale match the three comiquettes.

Man, this bad boy just came in. WOW! Seeing this piece up close and in person is a total joygasm. Any doubts about how much I spent on this statue were crushed by this massive masterpiece. This is my 1st SSC marvel sample to boot. I just set this bad boy next to my Spidey com. I can't begin to tell you how stoked I am.

Major props go out to Awesome for making this happen. Great guy to deal with. The last Venom EX on the bay sold for about $825 shipped. I'd still be on the hunt for this statue if he didn't sell me his Venom at a very reasonable price. Man, I just feel real lucky right now. I always feel super jazzed when I get a piece that I think is out of reach.

yeah, please ssc make more spidey villians.

even in 1/5 scale would be acceptable to me, as the hobgoblin is a great looking piece and in my display the differance in scale isn't that noticable imo

I've been wanting this guy for awhile to go with Carnage, but seeing the raising prices for him I just don't see it happening. The price has gone out of my range for sure.. shame
