Re: Sideshow/ Olivetti - Venom Comiquette

It's already been said, but take comfort in knowing Venom is the better decision. :lecture

Re: Sideshow/ Olivetti - Venom Comiquette

Im already dying for another venom comiquette sculpt. I would think with the popularity of this piece its in the works....maybe venom vs carnage dio....o man

Re: Sideshow/ Olivetti - Venom Comiquette

Hate to bump this thread, but I bought this amazing piece last summer and noticed while looking at other comiquettes on here, that my Venom's left foot peg leaves a gap from the ledge. Does anyone have any suggestions to get this foot properly in (i've tried to wiggle it in, but nothing)?

I think I remember having a bit of the same trouble you mention, but wiggling the peg was the extent of the problem. If it's not too bad, I would suggest leaving well enough alone. Too many times I've worried about breaking something.

I know the feeling. :lol Definitely not what you want to hear, I'm sure, but with my luck, I'd be the type to attempt too much and break it.

I have an Old West Ghost Rider maquette with the Exclusive flame base that's arguably the most fragile Sideshow piece I own. Long story short, it took me HOURS to put this thing on the base because it wouldn't sit quite flush. It finally sits flush and thankfully, no damage Looking back though, never again. The 1/4" difference didn't change a thing. On the other hand, if I broke something, I probably wouldn't have forgave myself. :lol

I am an idiot for not bringing this problem up sooner. It was my first and only Sideshow, and I obviously didnt want to tamper with the piece lol. Plus, I got the venom ex but the picture by Olivetti had a bent corner (that bothered me more than the awkward foot). You know what, I'm thinking I got lemon here :thud:

Re: Sideshow/ Olivetti - Venom Comiquette

About time!:impatient:
Congrats Smooth :duff & if you ever sell Venom again, I'll bombard you with brain-blasts. So swears M.O.D.O.K.!!!

I don't blame you for not wanting to do anything. Sometime the risk you taking sending it back for a replacement is not worth it.

How bad is the gap? Post a pic, if you get a chance.
