I would say that this was the best release of 2009 and the best 2010 piece so far yet, maybe Carnage might be the only one to top this one well I take that back there's the Spidey Com and Hulk Com, we will have to wait and see.

See, I don't agree with that. Venom is an outstanding piece but it is not the best of 2009. Berserker was. But that again is up to everyone's taste.

I can't wait to see Spider man....

I got the Exclusive from SS. That's the only way to go IMO, non elite collectors can get them from LCS or online Ad's.

if there was a category for best piece in 09, it would be Berserker. Venom is a great sculpt, flimsy paintjob. Berserker is all around 100% perfect.

I love excl's as much as the next guy, but there nothing elite about paying an extra $15 [plus framing] for that pathetic print...the word sucker does come to mind though.

My Venom just arrived and it is a terrific sculpt, but it couldn't even beat out the Iron Man Mark 1 maquette in it's own category. The Berserker destroyed all comers in the PF category [a much tougher division IMO] with well over twice the votes of the 2nd place Indy PF, and almost twice the total votes of venom....collectors have overwhelmingly spoken and it's not even close.
