Abomination is my first Marvel PF. I have on order Sabertooth, Wolverine, and Gambit. And Venom will be my first Comiquette. I plan on getting the Carnage and Spidey when those go on sale.

Mine finally came in, and for the most part Im stunned how nice this piece looks. My only complaint is the white paint app. I look at everyone else's pics and its the same thing, it looks like a 12 year old painted the spider emblem on his chest and back with liquid paper.

The white in the eyes is smooth, opaque, and they even did a gloss finish on the eyes. White on the hands is at least solid white, but the spider whites are splotchy, thin in areas and I want to not have it bother me but it does.

I don't buy my statues for investment or resell so I wouldn't mind trying to thicken up the white with paint myself but I have no idea what kind I would even need to buy.

Is this bothering anyone else on theirs?

Yes I noticed that from the photos but I thought it was just lighting or something. It seems like the black shows through irregularly and the symbol itself seems jagged like it was painted as a last minute job.

Where did you get your Venom from?

Sideshow. Funny thing is I cancelled it right before their first batch of deliveries after seeing some unflattering pics and then some better pics started showing up so I went on the WL and it converted within a couple of days.

One thing: Is the white spider on Venom's chest missing some fill or is it just the photos?

It's supposed to be like that, it's the ultra exclusive version.

The white on the emblem doesn't bother me at all. The 'messy' look sort of goes with Venom's corrupt nature. It also kind of looks more like it's sketchy in a drawn way too. That's how it is for me anyway.

Shell, I'm not one to normally point out stuff like this, but I couldn't help but notice that MY photo, one that has been critically acclaimed for its artistic sense of being might I add, has yet to be included in the Venom Photo thread.

Has there been some sort of mix-up? That's the only reason I can think of.
