Thanks for the review set OMG - wonderful images as usual! I also think this guy turned out great - definitely a bit more aged compared to DX10. BD elements are terrific! Very happy to have an EX coming from SS and a second set coming from BBTS.

Can you post a side by side pic with the DX10 (no sunglasses)?

Nevermind, I saw another side by side pic. This is such a massive improvement: paint, detail, likeness, pers, everything has surpassed last year's DX10. And remember that the DX10 is the result of a complete resculpt from its own proto as well. The extra effort from HT is much appreciated and I think we can thank the competition from EB for that.

Chest and knee definitely aren't without even looking at screengrabs. The face ones though look pretty good. Though I only compared them to NECAs last night.

Honestly, I don't like the way of using lighting. Sure OMG tries his best but I remembered the DX 10 set with the same lighting which was not appropriate for this product. Maybe for an Iron Man figure, the style or choice of using this kind of lighting makes the product more delicious but in this case it shows how the figure is really made of plastic! Especially the wounds on the face…On the other hand the figure looks great

Reminds me of the pinball machine from '91 I used to play at the arcade where there were three Terminators in the foreground, Endo, BD T-800 and clean sunglasses.

I really think this is why the MMS-117 is better.

There's a reason why the DX10, DX13, and EB's two efforts look similar: EB referenced Arnold and HT in turn referenced EB.

The MMS117 is on it's own. HT either settling for something that really didn't capture his features, or a terrible mishap at the factory considering the proto pics looked better.

How about a shot of all 3 T2 Arnold's, OMG? The evolution of Hot Toy's T2 T-800.

I still prefer the MMS 117 to the DX 10. Atleast the MMS 117 had real looking eyes and looked pissed. The skin texture and lines were also superior. It looks rough in comparison, sure, but I'd take that over the DX 10. The battle damage blows them both away, I still can't get over it.

The MMS 117 makes for a nice companion piece to the MMS 136 Tech Noir. They have the same facial features except one is a younger version with natural hair and the other is older with spiked.

I was just looking at mine the other day. No doubt it's great, but there's room for improvement and one day it will be topped too. The toy business circle of life.

If they make a new PS figure it will undoubtedly show up MMS136 as needing a redo. The sculpt is based on MMS117 which is 2 phases behind now as far as HT's ability with Arnold.

Now, these 'redoes' may never happen. We'll see.
