The production paint looks pretty damn nuts. Maybe a bit overboard on the freckles, blackheads and blemishes. Too bad it looks so mean.

Yeah. It is the same sculpt just with a different paint app making it appear more angry. I just can't find Tobey in the sculpt for some reason.

The likeness is ok fine, not 100% or even close, but the paint job do look ace to me.

That's what I said but apparently it's the same headsculpt just a different paint app.

The likeness is ok fine, not 100% or even close, but the paint job do look ace to me.

Does it look better in hand? If you could try to re-create this pose with your figure I'd be so grateful:

I found this one on ebay, the freckles dont look as extreme and I think OMG's camera is probably just THAT good and picking up every little detail that you likely wouldnt see with the naked eye

In my opinion, I think this HS falls into the "he resembles the actor" categogy. Like Hawkeye, Fury and others. They do a better job occassionally like Keaton, Reeves, and Nicholson. Either way, I don't mind. I am buying the figure more to have the character than the likeness of the actor. I love it when they get it near perfect, but close is good enough for me.
