We won't know until someone actually has this AND the original in a side-by-side photo.

My only beef with the original was that it seemed short compared to the others in the line -- the Mark I should be a beast, but the fact was he came in a bit shorter.

Some have argued with me about this too. Glad to see I'm not alone.

First version was a bit on the short side.

I'd like to see a side-by-side comparison too.

Well the TrueType is short and this is built around it so it will be short.

So you agree that it's short also.

All I'm saying is, the figure inside isn't removable. They should have it split somewhere and lengthen that particular body part. Perhaps a taller torso or longer femurs. This figure can easily hide this modification.

For best viewing result, do not place it near any light source specially spot light, use non direct room light best non direct sunlight, then you can see all the layers of detail paint and weathering.

Personally, I thought OST was the second best film in the series. Much better than DMC or AWE. Maybe because OST felt more 'piratey' to me, and it had more of a sensible plot than the convoluted mess that became AWE.

Still on the fence about this figure, but I'm starting to come around to it. Not for the $225, but if it lowers I'll definitely pick it up. It could be the last POTC figure we get from HT at this rate, (Unless Jack shows up in Avengers 2)

I really had no interest in this figure, but OMG's photos always make me go "I want this!!!"
