Thought it was meh myself. Too much of the they are going to get together then oh no they aren't oh no yes they are.

Uh, you know they don't get together til after the apple, right? I thought they did a good job bringing Snow and the Dwarves together, and I'm loving those guys.

She was born in 1982 so she will be 30 this year. Like me. :D

She's a hottie and I feel looks much better like this:

Rather than in the 'real world.'

Uh, no way!

Still they don't need to show the on again off again carousel a couple times ever episode.

And Stealthy should've been wearing red shirt. :lol

And Rumple stole the show, as usual.

Haha, no. I like fairy tales. It has some attractive chicks and Rumple is pretty kewl.

It was also a decent timekiller till Boardwalk Empire came on and now Shameless. :lol

I think they might be filling a bit of a plot hole with this guy. Since everyone in town was from the original story and doesn't remember what had happened to them - who wrote the book the kid is reading? Rumple and the Queen know about the curse, but don't seem like the types to chronicle it. Somebody had to write it all down for the kid to know...

Last nights fairytale story was good. The storybrooke story wasn't. It was so predictable how it was going to turn out.

Yes, it was somewhat predictable (although I thought the King's dying words were a very good twist/observation), but I like that they tied this back into the previous episodes around Snow's father.

And I thought I'd get to say "I told ya so!" about the mystery man, but they haven't quite gotten to it yet...but I'm still betting he's the writer of the book. Now the question is - who does that make him in the fairy tale world, and if he wasn't part of the fairy tale world, how did he discovery all this about Storybrooke?

Guess I'm dumb. I was at least a little surprised at the real world's twist.

Also, this was the first episode that started to give the impression that the Queen had some morsel of redeeming quality. But by the end we are still assured that she's a complete sociopath! :yess:

Good questions. That character definitely adds some intrigue.

So does the queen have the fairy tale book that the kid buried in the playground?

Next week's episode looks pretty good since it revolves around Rumpelstiltskin. :yess:

No, the mysterious writer stranger has the book.

Question to any of you....my cable screwed up right as the king was dying...what did he say to Sidney before he died ???

Don't remember the exact words but it was something about what Sidney said about the whishes end up doing bad things. Which was correct.

Or because he wrote it, he has some connection to it that allowed him to find it.

As to the King, he told Sydney he was right - he never should have made a wish.

Yeah, I saw that part. I just assumed the writer had another copy or something.

I guess he followed the kid one day and saw him burying it.

Well, he cut the lock that Henry had on the box and then opened it up to get the book out. Was definitely not a spare copy, unless both he and Henry keep them locked up the same way. :lol

The writing for the show is good. But most of the acting still falls very short. And there is NO chemistry between most of the characters. It's killing me. They really need to step it up.

This. I cringe the majority of the show because theses actors are making good dialogue sound so horrible. Especially the queen.

She needs to watch Revenge and take some pointers from Madeleine Stowe on how to be a psycho beotch.
