yikes. i must apologise Liquidisk. it was i that started that thread over at MWD. i totally screwed up and jumped the gun. it's just ya see shady things like recasts and stuff that i let my mind run away from me. i should use Google more like Gruff suggested lol. woulda been nice to have some of those Fwoosh links or some backstory in that 1st post tho, but again, sorry for jumpin the gun. :slap

This is one of the most amazing figures I've ever seen and am looking forward to the prospect of owning one or at least seeing further creations with this new technology. Welcome!

Thanks again, folks.

Gruff Old Bear, I'm not really a graphics artist, although right now all my deadlines are creeping up on me.

I'm working on making the body available to people--hopefully sooner rather than later--but I cannot guarantee anything at this point.

As for requests for the head sculpt, I don't know yet. I've been maxed out on this project and at the moment I'm working on something else.

Regarding other characters to make: I considered Aayla Secura for a time, but it would depend on time constraints. There are several characters I'd like to do and as long as I could find time to do it, I would.

That's a wonderful sculpt and body! I would love to see more pictures. I'm still trying to figure out how that elbow joint works. I can only imagine what it must take to actually build your own body. Saw some of your other works in the 6" scale on your website. I'm amazed at what you were able to do at such a small scale. Thanks for sharing your work.:D

He hasn't updated his website since 2006... I fear that maybe this is one of those great things that will never happen. Which is a shame, that body looks great.

dude, that is alsome the best slave leia 12 inc i have ever seen.. where can i buy one of those..is sideshow paying attention...

all i know is if sideshow does not make this figure. this guy can have $60 or $70 dollars...i would take 2 . i am one of those guys who keeps one sealed and opens the other...

This would be ALOT more then $60-70. I believe the entire thing from the body to the head is a custom.

Man I wonder what ever happen to this Liquiddisk dude...

Yeah that does look great but it also looks very close to the Triad bodies maybe to close. The wrists and knees especially. Your statements on building a body with better form is basically what I set out to do for Triad a long long time ago.

Where can I get these bodies? They're amazing. Great Lea too.

I'm still hopeful, especially since Triad is still in business. But, not holding my breath.

Oh, so these weren't released by a company already?? They look so good, I just figured somebody would pick them up by now.
