Then count me in for at least that one.

Of course you would need Claude Raines as Louis, and Peter Lorre us Ugarte.

As much as I love Ingrid Bergman I won't push it.

Oh man, you're right! I have always felt Ingrid Bergman was one of the most beautful actresses of all time. Way to go Anzik, wish I'd thought that one. :clap

a Humphrey Bogart would be fantastic! and cool idea about using a washington to cobble together an outfit for aubrey ml!

:) Was wondering if Brent would come up.

I'm also shocked nobody has requested a certain former SS licensed character that was never produced. I'm glad he hasn't been mentioned, but surprised nonetheless. ;)

lol, u musta missed post #68. already asked for Kurgan sculpt heh.

as for Bogart, Frontline has a nice Bogart sculpt. i have a Rick made w/ it in white tux jacket/black pants. looks just like Rick.

Interesting thread. :)

This is good actually, gives me some ideas. I know these are all totally hypothetical, but I would like to note that I won't be doing any portraits that Sideshow currently has a direct license for (that I'm aware of). I don't want to step on any toes as you can understand. This means no Star Wars, LOTR, etc. In fact I wouldn't have even released Craig if not for the fact I was left with the sculpt after a private commission fell through.

That said, a few likely subjects might be (in no particular order):

1. Russell Crowe
2. Clint Eastwood
3. Ian McShane/Swearengen (good call Psycho!)
4. Nathan Fillion (in progress)

Also, there is another head already in the works, commissioned by a fellow board member some time ago... I'm not sure if he wants to make it public yet or not, but I'm sure the actor will be on many folks' lists.

You know what would be awesome the 3 leads from The Good, The Bad & The Ugly! what a display that would make up! That's the top of my list!

On another note, I've got something cooking up my sleeve in collaboration with an uber talented young sculptor you all know. Should be a fun little announcement sometime in the coming weeks....

Sounds intriguing! :chew
What can it be? What can it be?

a 1/6 sculpt of myself? haha how cool would that be?

Someday I wish I could do that bro. Those are two figures I want to have someday--myself in a Jedi outfit, and as a Gondorian Ranger. The first to get my SW fix, and the latter to put myself in the background with Faramir. Couldn't be better!

All vanity aside though (kind of, I want those!), I would love to see Andy make a sculpt of Judy Garland from The Wizard of Oz. She's my favorite actress and remarkably beautiful--I'd love a sculpt of her from that movie! All the other characters, too. I just can't get myself to buy all the Barbie (spit spit!) figures, which sucks because I love that movie. I would love a Judy Garland sculpt. And her little dog, too!

Clint Eastwood as Josey Wales
Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry
Kurt Russell as Snake Plissken
Kurt Russell as Wyatt Earp
Paul Williams from Phantom of the Paradise

Won't Sideshow eventually make that head sculpt as part of the Star Wars line? It might be an older version of him but it would work.

So many choices, I'd have to go with something I know won't ever be made.
Colin Clive as Dr. Frankenstein
Clint Eastwood preferably as the Man with No Name
Jodie Foster as Clarice Starling from Silence Of the Lambs
Jesse Ventura From Predator
Malcolm McDowell from a Clockwork Orange
Gary Oldman as anything would be killer. I'd prefer versions of him as old and young Dracula and from The Professional.
And as much as I'd like to see Andy's sculpt of Brad Pitt, there's already several versions of him out there that look very good.
