Id agree there. Each to his own.But in my opinion for it not being by a recognised company like sideshow, its very dear.
why does it matter if it is made by a recognized company? one would prolly never get another chance at finding one of these.......i know i havent seen a p2 bust ever on ebay in that kinda of quality. i guess it would b kinda risky not knowing who put it together to begin with, so reputation does matter and i guess thats what u mean by a "company". so....in turn i answered my own question
so...just to let u guys know, i decided that i am going to buy the elder bust from peter murphy off of the hunterslair. just curious, does anyone have any info about him, i feel kinda vulnerable giving someone that much money knowing that it will take prolly a couple of months to get the bust, and i dont really know this guys rep. the bust is just so cool, but i will prolly go suicidal if i get screwd over!!

are you talking about the P2 elder bust??? i didn't know any were for sale. i'd love to get me one of those. unless you put it on a credit card i'd recommend paying half up front and half once its finished just to be safe.

Yeah its the reputation I like. The likes of sideshow are 2nd to none, and all items are very sought after, dont get me wrong it is a great piece and the elder is mind blowing!
I just like sideshow and hot toys items due to rep etc also. And sideshow have amazing customer service.
But if you like something go for it, at the end of the day your own opinion is the most valid one

I dont know if the guy is a member here. Think you just contact him, up to you what you do, or maybe contact one of the other members on hunters lair that have dealt with him? Im really just shooting in the dark here, dont really know what your best option is
Peter Murphy is one the most trustworthy artists and one of the nicest person I have ever dealt with. He offers complete updates as the peice is being made and is a true assest to the hobby. I wouldn't be hesitant to give him any money

awesome... good to know. i just registered and have maybe 10 posts on the site so i'm not sure if he's gonna want to get a background check on me.
so are u going to get one wookiee?, money is still green wherever u get it from, so no background check is necessary cause i have no posts on thehunterslair at all! and we still did business, if anything yur taking a risk, not him. i believe he only has at most 3 more copies available to make, so u wont get another chance on this and thats why i couldnt hold up on it....

yes sure! i payed half up front and will pay the rest when hes done. this way was a lot easier then paying the full 1860 at once

I did the exact same thing. This will be the grail to top anything Sideshow has or will make in a Predator line. Congrats dude!
for sure.........this bust is far better than the p1, a p2 or the wolf bust, and i can guarantee one wont b able to find one anytime soon. this bust will be worth far more than any of the other ones. i just want sideshow to keep it comin with the maquettes cause those r bad ass. i may pick up a wolf bust eventually though.......congrats yurself!
