Yup, just like that.

"I swear on my ^^^^in' mother, if you talk in the movies again, you're dead!"

I love when some of you people get in a hissy fit because people carry guns. Any of you ever meet me at some get together, there will be a really good chance I am carrying, and you won't even know. Unless I'm in a school or a federal building, I am armed. If this guy has such a short fuse then he is probably a menace to society and shouldn't even drive a car because of possible road rage incidents.

I mean, not everyone carries a gun. And while I do understand people who do, you should understand that some people dont.

This is a big reason I only go see movies I REALLY want to see at the theator. People ( espacially teens ) have to act super cool and talk through most of it and people today are crazy. Even if you can kick someones ass chances are that these days it won't get that far because some ^^^^^ has to carry a gun.

Sad but true!

Because there are a lot of crazy people in this world. All you have to do is read our newspapers. People go into churches, malls, restaurants and start killing innocent people for no other reason then to kill. Home invasion are rising and most likely will increase as the economy worsens. I am not some half crazed Rambo who is just waiting for the chance to use a weapon on someone, I hope I never have to use one. I just decided long ago that if someone was going to indiscrimantly start killing people in a place I was at that I would not be a victim and would do everything I could do to protect my family, my self, and others if I could. From what I have read, crime has gone up in Australia and England since they have virtually banned all firearms.

Looks like they need to add a new warning before the movie starts, when they tell you where the exits are, and not to talk on your phone, they should mention if you do, you get shot.

I could see this going down at like a Scarface showing in L.A. LoL but Benjamin Button?

It doesn't bother me to tell people to shut-up during a movie. The last time was during Iron Man... Some guy insisted on telling his friend every single thing that was going to happen next.

I think the problem is that most of the time the people making the noise are either a) babies/children b) teenagers or c) inconsiderate jerks. For the most part, trying to reason with any of the above is pointless. Theatres should have a zero tolerance policy for noise makers and boot them out; however, I think theatres do not want to alienate parents of these children or teenagers who flock to theatres.

Your wrong about the crime in Australia on average about 4-5 people are
killed from gun shot wounds a year and 90% of those is because a cop shot someone for stepping out of line. In the U.S its about 13000.
If people didnt carry guns then know one would be tempted to use them.
You have the right to defend yourself but if everyone is carrying a gun its recipie for disaster. And a perfect example of this is a man getting shot in the theater for talking.

:lecture:lecture:lecture Good points. In fact and as crazy as this sounds, even as a nation, having the "strongest" military or weapons system also attracts the enemy too. There is nothing wrong with defending yourself but having a "weapon" calls for escalation imo.

There have been 332 murders in Philadelphia this year, down from 392 last year. Its not out of the question to think you might need a gun to defend yourself.

Also, drugs, robbery, burglary, prostitution, theft, etc but they still keep going. Taking away guns from honest people means criminals can do what they want.

On the flip side 11,456 people have been sexually assaulted in kangaroo related attacks in Australia.

0 in the U.S.
