Been thinking about it a lot and I think I'm gonna let my Rulk ex go. I love the statue and mine came out pretty flawless, but I've never been a huge Rulk fan and there is so much stuff coming out... but mostly I'm in the middle of a European excursion that is sucking me dry lol. I will keep the green ex though... I can't see myself having the two side by side. Part of it is awesome but it goes against my nature of denying myself repaints on expensive pieces.

Well I remember why I hate UPS so much. Scheduled to deliver today, but of course "weather" some where else in the contry means they can't get it the last 50 miles from Laurel, Md. to Northern Va. to my house today and they don't deliver on Saturday unless you paid for weekend delivery so I can now expect Rulk on Monday so I can now take yet another day off work to be home to sign for it. UPS is the gold standard I tell you. This is far from my first issue with them.

Can't you have it held at the local UPS hub and pick it up? That's what I have to do most of the time instead of taking off a day from work.

The local hub is an hour in the opposite direction from where I work and I work an hour from home too so getting off at 5pm means I'd get there at 7pm at best and home at 8pm. I doubt the hub is even open to pick up that late, but even if it was I'd rather not have a 3 hour trip to get it and make it home.

Rulk ex arrived with a snapped leg. Clean break at the leg seam but not glued very well :pfft:
And the hair paint and neck seam are terrible too. Not overly impressed.

That leg thing seems to be a bad issue.....hopefully they get that resolved before the green and grey come out......maybe that's why they were delayed.

my UPS hub is just five minutes down the street. Guess I took it for granted it was that close

Many have said lightweight, thinly cast, statues aren't an issue as long as they looks good displayed, in several threads.
When statues are breaking during transit they are obviously cast too thin.

The only statue I've ever received with a broken limb was Black Panther and that was paper thin.

True, but the cast isn't breaking on these just the "glue" point from what I've seen. It looks like a problem of weak or not enough glue or poor packaging design.

Pretty sure the pictures I've seen with the seperated leg have broken polystone.

Hope everyone gets a flawless one and making the Green & Grey a bit thicker can only be a good thing :D

Actually I'm not sure.
Does the leg section have a peg that has broke off or is it just glued straight on?
Surely they are using a peg and hole to make it more secure :huh

People said a peg broke off inside. But either way it sounds like the glue is giving way causing the leg to break.

There was no peg on mine just 2 holes. It's like they keyed the statue incorrectly because either the lower or upper leg should have a rectangular peg on it to support the joint.

Call me crazy, but this doesn't really seem to be a "break" and unless the paint got all chipped up on the leg I'd just glue it back on. No, you shouldn't HAVE to, but I don't see re gluing a seam as "damaged goods" since it's just glued there to begin with.
