Statue Pablo V. & Andy B. New Sideshow Hulk PF with Variants!!! 1/4 scale !!!

The only thing Kirby related on both PFs is the portraits. Kirby never drew Hulk as huge or muscular as the PFs. Hell, Kirby drew him with 4 fingers on each hand. I just want a modern Hulk free of any Kirby influence. I'm a HUGE Batman fan. I wouldn't want any thing to do with a Bob Kane inspired PF. Not when so many artists drew his creation better than he did. I feel the same way with the Hulk.

Oh don't get me wrong I agree. For the most part Kirby's influence, at least these days, is more technical than anything. Forced perspective, dynamic panel layouts, character design... Those are just par of his Legacey. Does that mean I want to see a statue based entirely off of his work? Nope, I want me some Keown... Lol.

I used the term presence. I understand what you are saying and I was saying in response to the top things people mention (that I see) about it. As far as " the feeling of mass" yeah its big but i also feel it has a goofy look to it that doesn't show off hulk as I would like. I think its a nice statue just not my cup of green tea.

I use to think the same thing till I saw it in person and then my opinion changed, but that is just my opinion, and yours is equally valid. After seeing it I did get an itch to track it down. However, I think this new one and the one I am going to make will scratch it effectively... Lol.

My biggest issue is remembering who the artist is... Lol. Buscemia keeps coming to mind but I am not sure of tha is correct.

As a previous owner of the Original PF, I can honestly say that the new PF will not replace the OG Hulk. The OG is sculpted very well and without a doubt has SSC best Hulk paint apps ever.

I regret selling it because I have all the other Hulk pieces and it was without question a quality statue. It was the first, it's as heavy as 10 year old, it is painted beautifully, and has great skin texture and detail. It will never be replaced... Even if this new piece in hand comes out and everything is perfect and the paint apps are amazing, the OG will always hold it's own as a classic SSC statue. Lets not forget about the low ES number also. ..

I seen this in person a few years ago BEFORE I collected and I remember asking if I could touch it (I wanted to grab Hulks hand) and when the guy said yes I decided against it. Now I feel compelled to find it in person just to see it, after all that time and how much more knowledgeable I am I would look at it so differently. I am going off pics for my overview. When they put up the new hulk for PO (green) I didn't PO but the day I saw Rulk in person I was like I NEED GREEN HULK. I will follow up if I get to see OG in person again.

Oh the good old debate of the original PF versus pretty much every statue released from ssc since its release. I own them all and to date ssc hasn't hit the mark like the original did. For those that don't own it or don't know it's presence, well this one I do believe will be a very good replacement or option. Just my 2 cents....

Yeah this new Rulk looks awesome, I have the com so I didn't order the new pf version and kinda wish I did once in hand pics started to show up. oh well one Rulk is enough for my collection.

Yep.... Keep the grey Spidey... It's awesome but Green is the one I want... I also have new Grey coming and I really do believe that new grey looks better then Old grey... I just love that Head sculpt on that one.
