I am sorry to all who love the Kirby head BUT IMHO the first one is FULL of awesome and with some tweaks with the hair would be a perfect raging modern Hulk, and the other one just looks SAD... Literally sad... like "Puppy Hulk".

The angry face is the EX portrait though so you would be destroying you EX. Honestly, if I was to buy the Rulk I would probably just repai t the whole damn thing and call it a day... Lol

So this was posted on here previously, I hope it still meets the rules!!
I'm particularly proud of this paint-up, it was my first attempt at a re-paint, the motivation being that this sculpt is incredible and the Rulk for me is the best head/hair combination for this statue.

These PFs will have no bearing on the aftermarket prices of the original PF. Why would they? I personally don't even like the original PF but there is no way this new one even comes close to the original IMO. Peeps will be buying this piece because it's a 1/4 PF of the Hulk. However, if SSC ever re released the original, everyone would jump on it over the new PF if they wanted a Kirby Hulk. If there is one thing that has been proven over time, the grails don't go down in price. If I wanted a Kirby Hulk, I'd dish out the money for the 1st PF. I just have no interest in that version of the character. A modern PF is the only piece I'm interested in adding to my collection. That all said, the original PF will not be dropping in price anytime soon.

I would chose this new pf over the old pf personally. Just because I don't really prefer the old Kirby hulk at all. I didn't like how the older comics were written or drawn. It sucks because I wish I did like it because it's so iconic...

I disagree. Did the Spidey PF drop in price when the COM was released? No, it didn't. Did the Hulk PF drop in price when the COM was released? It actually went up in price. Did the Hulk Maquette put a dent in the PFs aftermarket price? Certainly not. The grails don't come down in price. History shows that. Look, I have no horse in this race. I hate both Hulk PFs. However, you will never hear me say this new Hulk PF is better looking than the original. If someone wants to own the best looking Kirby Hulk PF, they are going to want the original. There will be thousands of these new Hulk statues released. The original will always have a lower ES and the demand for it will not wane. Peeps have proven time and time again that they are willing to pay top dollar for these grail pieces. That won't change with the release of thousands of these rainbow Hulks.

I think there's a big difference between Comiquettes and Premium Formats and the Hulk Maquette will be available for a long time, there is no aftermarket value in that piece meaning no affect on previous Hulks.
We'll see buddy. At no point have I personally seen any of these grails take a major dip in the aftermarket. I honestly don't expect that to change. When these new PFs are released, we'll have an easier time seeing if the aftermarket prices on the original PF takes a dip.
