While yes Manny shut Cotto down and left him with a face only his mother could love, you have to hand it to the guy for not bowing out early and sticking for all 12 rounds. The best fighters would have gone down by round 9 but Cotto kept his fight on.

Still my wife and I both lost our voices from screaming with joy all night every time Manny turned the chainsaw on Cotto's face.

He just might with the pressure that'll be put on him.
I can't imagine him being a man who would like to loose his pride somehow . Then again that might be the reason he wont want want to fight , for fear of being beaten.

My favorite was the slow motion where Cotto just watched Manny's glove coming towards his face and he had this "Oh no! Not again!!!" look on his face before it contacted and his face crumpled up.

I knew Pacquiao would win but I was hoping Cotto would take it. Why? My filipino co-workers are mean to me. They stick together and talk behind my back in there language. Out of spite I wanted Pacman to lose but one day. I shall have my revenge! I do love spring rollls though.

Pretty much anyone who follows boxing (and even some who don't) knew this result would happen...anyone who thought Cotto would win was just trying to be different.

Pac-man is all class too, he even admitted Cotto did hurt him in a few rounds...but really the result was never in doubt.

I just thought before this fight previous people he's fought have made him look better than he is...De la Hoya was over the hill and Ricky not in the same class (never was)
