Of course they are going to start high to test the waters, especially if they only have one. They dont want to sell it for $400 when they could have sold it for $800.

The ES is another contributor, but not the only reason why this is attractive. Look at The Hulk or Doom...both over them have a large ES greater than 1000, and they are on the high wanted list of collectors. Even if this had a 750 ES and there are several thousand fans for this line, you bet people will be clamouring about it The line is what brings a group of fans together....

What if they made 1 statue of a regular John Doe and nobody cares about it. It will be sitting in the trash can

True. I still don't agree with your point it's the Ex or nothing. I don't see the hand as that exciting. Sure it's a nice touch (excuse the pun), but not essential in my eyes. I am quite happy to settle with the reg as edition size and rarity mean nothing to me.

I really think that PZ PF will be VERY expensive figure. It should break $ 1500 mark very easy.

I don't think it will go that high, but you never know. $830 is pretty shocking.


Funny thing with these pre-sales, we don't even know if any unexpected problems will occur with the piece.
