Naw, you get a little over a week to remedy the situation before it's canceled.
However, if you don't get on it quick...well then you're out.

Due to the extremely limited size of this item’s edition there will be no courtesy decline window, which allows customers time to replace declined forms of payment or update expiration dates. Please make sure to have your funds for this order available on the date range given here and in the upcoming processing notification e-mail. Any orders that decline at the time of processing, for any reason, will be immediately cancelled and offered to the next customer on the wait list. We urge you to check your account and verify your order information including your credit card number and expiration date

Now this really puts some of us with the regular on order in a pickle. How many declines will there be for the exclusive, and how many of us now stand a better chance of converting our exclusive WL? Do I cancel the regular, or risk having it go through first, and THEN have the WL convert?

What to do, what to do...

Yikes, I just got the notice. My amex card is used strictly for Sideshow purchases, and is sitting at a $0 balance, so I better not have any trouble! I wonder if the charge system is automated, or if someone at Sideshow has to enter the card numbers every time. I've often wondered that. I do like the fact that on almost all of my orders, the item arrives and I am charged later that same day. Funny.

Most likely its the same system that goes through looking for duplicate orders. They attempt the charge and if it fails then they cancel and move down the list. The question comes in that SSC preauths many times before the actual charge which means someone who is moving funds at the last minute to afford this might be a bit too late or will they cancel if rejected at the final charge?

I wonder if Waitlist conversions that didn't go in order exactly on this prompted some of this sweeping change? I don't even remember this notice for SSE items right? Which are far more limited often times.

I just hope it isn't happening in response to the outcry here in the forum. We certainly never intended for THAT to happen.

I know some members banks automatically reject high value purchases for safety and only the grace period by SS allows them to correct this despite telling their bank that sideshow transactions are approved

I got the gray hulk dio and the didn't change the grace period for that either

Yeah, nothing like this for the SSE dioramas, which both sold out very quickly and had half the edition size. Sideshow has definitely caught some flak for the patient zero edition size and waitlist situation.

I've scored several 50-100 ES items, and none of them have had this new restriction. It is looking more to me like an outgrowth of our dissatisfaction with the wait list, and that is kind of disappointing.

it seems harsh to totally stop the grace period, halving it would've been fairer

^^^^ all of you pussies that cried about missing out on the exclusive... BOO-^^^^ING-HOO, that's life. To make matters worse, a few more people had to jump on the crybaby bandwagon because they didn't know how the waitlists work. As a result, there are probably going to be several people who logged in early and ordered theirs before you who get theirs cancelled because changing their policy was the only way to stop the ^^^^storm of complaints from you ^^^^^es.

I guess the sqeakiest wheel does get the oil... too bad there wasn't anything wrong wit it to begin with, just a bunch of butthurt babies who couldn't have their way :monkey2

Funny that people are saying that now that Sideshow did something to keep the babies from crying any more.

did any really expect sideshow to change though, I mean there was ALOT of fallout after the gray hulk dio & SS never changed their stance

I guarantee you that we'll see at least one post on these forums crucifying SSC for this by the time the dust has settled.
