I called today to get a total so I could send a check in, but the gal that does that I guess was out to lunch or something so they said they'd email me a total by the end of the day. Well, I still got nothing. Hopefully I get one tomorrow morning. I'd hate to call again and be a bother, but I'm not taking any chances on this guy.

I am sure you wouldn't be the first person to call twice or more, good luck I hope eveything works out!

I'd be calling back until they provided a total, especially in light of their recent policy-change shenanigans.

That's cool that you don't want to be a pest but that's what SS's Customer Service is there for; to make sure their customers are taken care of & happy.

You know, normally I would agree. But Sideshow did this to themselves with this stupid ass policy and they should have to deal with any inconveniences or constant phone calls. Like I said in an earlier post, I was LITERALLY walking out the door to go to the bank and get a money order and I changed my mind and decided to just call REPEATEDLY until they are "not to busy" to do the charge with me on the phone.

Sideshow usually has outstanding customer service and that is what they are there for.
 
I'll give them until after the Mort PPO tomorrow and then give them a call. They'd probably hang up on me if I called during the PPO :lol
 
Yes indeed they will. I called during the Cobra Commander and was told (though very nicely) to call back a bit after the PPO.

same thing happened to me during some other PPO. I had a declined CC from something on order (thanks CSC) and called to straighten it out during some PPO I wasn't interested in and didn't know it was about to happen. I was politely asked to call back in a few hours.

This will actually be the first PF I buy at full price. I got SSE London After Midnight for around $60 at Spook (the year they let us use gift cards in addition to discounts) and I won an AP Frankenstein from Spook last in in the decoder contest :rock

I see that the regulars are selling for $300 on eBay but I also see quite a bit of people canceling the regular. What are the odds of this coming back on second chance or being available through a retailer? I'm still torn on whether to cancel the regular keeping in mind I don't have the exclusive. If I cancel, what are the odds of me being able to get the regular at the retail price if I change my mind. :huh :banghead

Depends how many people are on the WL who really want it I guess. I doubt it will be on second chance ever I bet the WL is pretty large for the regular.
 
I think if you get the regular early your chances are good for getting it close to retail. But the longer you wait the higher the price on the regular will be. No doubt about it.
 
So I have a project that I'm working on with my grey Hulk and I NEED an extra Hulk PF base to finish it. That being said, I may just be willing to work something out tradewise for either just a base or another complete Hulk PF, green or grey. It's gonna have to be one helluva deal though.

A good deal for who, you or the seller? I would think that getting an ENTIRE Hulk PF for even a PZ ex will cost some $$ from your wallet :rolleyes:
 
There seems to be a lot of people sending in money orders and/or checks. How often do people actually have 'fraud' related declines? For the 10+ years I owned credit cards I think that happened a grand total of 1 time. I was on vacation at the time. I have never had that happen for an online purchase. I'm going to go out on a limb and let the first of 3 Flex payments just be charged to my prepaid Visa :horror. Once the in-hand pics start showing up and I know for sure there's no QC problems with this piece, I'll probably call SS and pay it off early. If there's 'deal-breaker' QC problems I'll just cancel.
