Today I received the response from bbts:

"Thank you for checking in! I share in your frustration, as there are many people that are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the revised helmets as well.
As we received confirmation several weeks ago that they were making their way closer, they still have not arrived yet.
As we are now coming out of the holiday shipping rush, many anticipated arrivals seem to be experiencing delays in transit.
Thank you again for your patience, and we will have the helmets shipped as quickly as they are received. "

I cannot understand why they replied now that they have not received it yet, while they wrote the opposite to another member.

I received the exact same response today as well.

That's what he told me when I called them . It's a shame because I would go for it if I new I was definitely getting it .

ebay head sculpt for brad. it has facial hair though. the plan was to add rotted hair and remove the facial hair.

Ah, the World War Z sculpt?
I like the one the figure came with, is pretty close to Brad Pitt IMHO.

Finally today I received the new free helmet from bbts.
It looks (size & color) way better than the original.
One of the longest waits ended.

It really sucks that Pangaea is not going to rerelease this figure with the new helmet and updated color . They were in the process of doing just that and a bunch of people complained . Now for guys like me who missed out, were screwed . [emoji107]

They did. I got one, and a few others here. Check a few pages back. The belt is slightly different also. Couple of subtle differences with the second version.

I actually can't remember, but it was from ebay, so any of the sellers from their really. It will say version 2.
