Super Freak
Gotta give props to Freddy Roach "La Cucaracha". I wonder what Mayweather Sr. was thinking after the fight. Seems like Hatton didn't stick to the plan or even had a chance to lay out his plan.
I'm glad I didn't pay for the fight and instead decided to watch the highlights. Being half Filipino automatically makes me a Paquiao fan. (I don't speak tagalog unfortunately.) I'm hoping for a Pac-man vs PBF fight. I don't know if PBF will have any rust coming out of retirement but the fight against Juan Manuel Marquez will tell.
Who is PBF?
I guess Mayweather is next,
Pretty Boy Floyd. Mayweather's nickname.
I never really rated the Hitman that much. I Can't understand why he gets more publicity than Joe Calzaghe, who pound for pound is a much better British fighter.
imo it's because in Calzaghe's entire career he's only fought twice in the United States: Against Roy Jones Jr. and Bernard Hopkins. And those were his last 2 fights before retiring.
And going in to the Hopkins fight (which was the first fight Calzaghe had in the states) that fact was mentioned numerous times. Mainly to illustrate the doubt and skepticism people have for fighters who avoid (for whatever reason) fighting in the states. Good or bad, it's a fact: Most if not ALL journalists, media, fans won't care much about a fighter in America until they actually fight in America. Look at Paquiao: no one cared about him until he finally fought here. And he was 32 - 2 by that time.
Most fighters avoided Calzaghe, not the other way round.
And if anybody thinks he ran from a fight, you're delusional, and don't know as much as you think you do.
