doesnt look scary at all, as the first one wasnt either, but i defn wanna see it. Hopefully is doesnt have too many similarities to the first one story wise.

This is one of those things where if the events in the film actually happened to you, you'd be freaked out of your mind. But watching it isn't exactly scary. So you really have to put yourself in the characters' places to appreciate it I think. I just watched the 1st one last month and I liked it. I kept thinking someone would stand over me in the middle of the night though

I honestly can say I didn't hate it. I don't "hate" most things. I sat there through the movie and didn't walk out. That said this and Blair witch remain as some of the worst movies I have ever saw.

Well...maybe for some. I niether loved nor hated it. I was hoping for something terrifying and didn't get it. But there were a few scenes that hit me pretty good. Enogh that I am looking forward to the #2.

Whenever a movie compares itself in advertising as more terrifying than the exorcist it's usually a guarantee that it is sub par.

Unfortunately people have lost their sense of wonder and need "explicit" gore to feel "threatened", but I do find P.A. 1 as a very physiological experiment that plays with your mind, and on how average people might react to a "real" situation...

As I mentioned, I think it's only scary if you put yourself in the shoes of the main characters...
