it's actually easier to get stuff during ebay golden age where people sell alot and sell at decent price.

now many people don't sell because they get turned off by the fees and what you find are usually very expensive.

now it's either preorder or pay super premium where back in the days the good stuff's there waiting for you and shout "buy me!".

Hype, and the ease at one can aquire something now is why I choose the past. I have collected in one way or another since I was 7 or 8 years old. In the past one required EFFORT and LUCK, now everything can be aquired with ease and the click of a mouse. Hell you can collect anything you want from your couch; with a lap-top, internet connection, and paypal account. Nevertheless I have adapted. I collect from the couch. But every now and then I venture out, and whattatyaknow, you can actually find something great with a little effort.
