ha ha ha, dont worry I didnt either and I swear I probably said chainsaw at least eleventeen billion times...which might of contributed to me not getting one :(

Yeah Im over it...this PZ is really nice just considering how much other stuff I have on pre-order, wont be able to get him. Plus 1:1 is a little bigger than I like if thats the actual size.

I have a space for him (looks up at collection shelving unit), but the problem is, that space is occupied by other Dead right now. And of course the big-@$$ McVader is on the way, which I'm praying will fit in my Bestas. Would be nice to have a stare off between two totally obscure pieces in my collection. Nobody would know what the heck was going on in my office.

Mr. PZ, meet Mr. McVader. :rotfl

Besta are awesome, I just wish I opted for the lighter color. These dark brown ones absolutely eat up and hide my mostly dark collectibles. The one that looks best is the Aliens Warrior Maquette, because he appears to be emerging from the darkness, and Donatello because he is lighter. Well, Mort and the Specimens look pretty good too. Dang, I need a new overhead light in this office.

Agreed! I wish I went with the lighter ones as well. I was and have been planning on getting lights for them but I have just been pushing it off.

I'm going to get a five light overhead for the room and aim each one at one of the five tall doors I have. I'm just fearing that there is going to be a heck of a lot of glare on the glass. I don't want to put lights in the cabinets though, they are already fastened to the walls.

Yea there might be way too much glare if it is directly at the glass. Your best bet would be inside unfortunately. Who knows though, it might work out.

I haven't opted for any doors on mine yet. My collection room is closed off except when I'm in there or we have people over and they want to see the "museum" :lol, so dust isn't a big issue in there. I'm thinking of some track lighting or other cheap options. I know a lot of people love the dioder lights, but I'm not sold on them yet, especially at $50 a set (I'd need at least 4 sets).

BTW, I also have added an Expedit unit in the middle of my collection room. They are PERFECT for smaller busts/dios, and 12" figures. But they do present yet another lighting challenge.

:lol I knew someone would say that! I'll try to get something this weekend. I'm still getting things arranged in there. If you've never seen the Expedit, it comes in several varieties. I chose this one:

But I turned it on its side. It's about 30" tall, 5' wide, and 13" deep this way, and the top surface makes a GREAT display area for full size busts and larger items that don't fit in the Bestas. I am thinking of getting another one and putting them back to back. And my wife has already "approved" it! :yess:

Looks like something I may be able to hang on my free wall if space ran out. Is that possible with that unit? Are there fastening places on the back that could be relied on to carry substantial weight if mounted on the wall?

I like this bust and will be getting it for sure! I've even got about $200 in Reward Points just waiting for something like this to come along!!! :yess:

As for my guesses... I'm thinking $499 to $599 (yes, I said $599) with an edition size of 100 at absolute most, more likely 75 or even 50. And Nick, I don't think it will be in stock; they just got the bust finished painted and ready ordering, so I would be really surprised if they had actually had it ready long enough to have production finished!

For once, Lonnie, I hope you are wrong (at least about the price). :horror $599 would be too unreasonable to me.

fury, I don't think the Expedit could safely be wall-mounted. It doesn't come with any hardware for that purpose, and the weight would be pretty significant. The shelf unit alone weighs over 70 pounds.
