Have they came out with a wireless option for the xbone controller with pc's yet? I'm still wired with it.

If this is what you're asking it looks like it's coming soon enough.

Xbox One Controller + Cable for Windows Brings the Console Experience to PC

We have good news for all of the controller-loving PC gamers out there: Soon, you’ll have a new option for bringing the comfort and precision of a controller to your computer with the Xbox One Controller + Cable for Windows.

Arriving in November 2014, the Windows 7 and Windows 8-compatible controller brings the feel of the Xbox One to your PC. The Xbox One Controller + Cable is the culmination of over 200 prototypes; featuring over 40 awesome innovations, it’s the best PC controller Microsoft has ever produced.

The Xbox One Controller + Cable for Windows is simple to use, plugging into any available USB slot and updating automatically. Want to switch it over to your Xbox One for some console gaming? No problem! The controller works on your Xbox One as well, either wirelessly or with the cable, making it more versatile than third-party PC controllers.

You can grab the Xbox One Controller + Cable for Windows this holiday season, at most major retailers or your local Microsoft Store.

~~Do you have a preference over the 360 controller? I'm only asking because they're easily found cheaply, and the USB dongle is pretty cheap as well.

Yeah I like the Xbone controller a little more than the 360 one, which I have the wireless receiver for. Yeah that's still wired though...I don't see the need for what they are selling there because you can just plug it in now to a USB port and play it on the PC. Maybe M$ will see fit to give us a wireless option on the PC with the Xbone controller soon.

I tried that out, but I think you need a 4K TV for it, obviously :lol

I think the display driver screws up Alien Isolation, so I had to roll back.

Acutally:

"Dynamic Super Resolution renders a game at a higher, more detailed resolution and intelligently shrinks the result back down to the resolution of your monitor, giving you 4K-quality graphics on an HD screen."

You don't need to use it because you already have a 4K setup :lol. By the way, mentioning Alien Isolation, did you ever notice choppiness in the sound quality? I can't get the game to sound right on my TV speakers. Everything else on Steam works fine.

Yeah but I tried it on my 1080p screen, its not that great. I dont know if I was using it right but you have to tweak a lot to see the text and stuff(really small). I tried it with Civilization Beyond Earth and Alien Isolation.

I didnt notice anything with the sound no, I always used my headphones though, reinstall drivers maybe :dunno.

OK I tried DSR again, it turns out I put the smoothness up to 100%........ bad idea :lol it blurs everything out, it looks better now

But, you need DSR, since you already have a 4K monitor! :lol DSR is only used to emulate 4K resolutions on 1080p displays.

The new Call of Duty has supersampling as well. Not sure if there's any games actually using the DSR from Nvidia yet though.

Well, you have to enable DSR manually from the Nvidia control panel. You can set the DSR resolution either from the Geforce Experience application, or directly from the in-game settings.

No I have a 4K TV downstairs and a 1080p monitor......:wink1:

Can you guys recommend some good PC games to play? Preferably a RPG or FPS with really good graphics?

I finally bought a good gaming PC (4790K, 980 GTX) and haven't kept up with PC games for the last 3 years. This is what I'm currently playing:

League of Legends
Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls

The new call of duty is gorgeous looking. Plays pretty well too. NVIDIA even released a driver update for the game.

Mass Effect 3 (though you might want to play the 1&2), Dragon Age:Inquisition is coming up in less than 2 weeks. The new Call of Duty is pretty good. If you're mostly interested in graphics Crysis 3 looks very good, but there's better FPS games out there. Ryse looks really good as well, but the gameplay is not so good.

Yea, the new COD does look really good, but what I hated about playing previous COD games is its way overpowered guns. It takes less than 1 second to kill someone, so it really becomes a who see who first get the kill. Is the new one like this?

Dragon Age: Inquisition looks very interesting, I think get it when on comes out on the 18th!

What about Skyrim? It know its kinda of old now, but I never played it.

How the guns work in COD hasn't changed, there's just different types. This one has sci-fi stuff that changes how it plays though.
Skyrim is good, and on PC there's lots of mods that can make it look even better.

Dunno. I'm only playing single player.

In my honest words, it's video game adaptation of Elysium, essentially expanded. Or a wanna be titan fall.

OMG I literally just got back into Skyrim :lol........
Skyrim Nexus - mods and community......

Yes Mass Effect 3(+1&2) is a must.... Dragon Age Inquisition too if your going for an RPG, and Star Wars The Old Republic and Elder Scrolls Online if your into MMO's

Also if you don't mind waiting a little bit GTAV is out in JAN(very good modding community for that), that has a new FPS mode........ the Witcher 3 too out soon and Assassins Creed Unity is out in a few days.......

I bet you will get god performance out of that CPU/GPU on any of these as well....... :wink1:(except the Witcher 3:lol)

I figured it's time to upgrade my PC case, but I'm just wondering, do you guys know of any nice and sleek mid-tower cases? Not something that looks plain and utilitarian, but rather, something that's sexy and pleasing to the eyes - in addition to having good airflow and wire-management capabilities. The reason I ask, is because I'm not interested in something with a lot of flashy lights and colors (which seems to be most cases these days) :lol.

I recently read some good stuff about the Bitfenix Pandora
could be a tad small though :dunno
