I go with the saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" when it comes to graphics updates & drivers.

That said, new drivers is the first thing I do if I'm having problems. BF4 seems to always want new drivers. Needy ****in game.

Oh, on a hardware note. I'm on my third ASUS DCII R9 290. First back screened at random times in desktop, 2nd started blue screening after a few months - third times the charm? If this one dies I'm goin to the opposition.

Sweet. From what I've read it's the best controller or the past 10 years. Basically this generation's Saturn controller.

Yes, its a significant upgrade, imo. And I like my wired 360 controller, but there may be no turning back

You're connecting your PC to the router with wireless? I'd just run a cable.

ASUS make some network cards & d-Link have always been decent.

Update on Xbox one controller since pc update - same controller is NOT working right on Xbox one now - I had a 2nd controller and no issues - do NOT download PC update for xbox one controller for now....can't be isolated

update: even with usb, the controller is definitely having major issues - deleted the firmware update on pc with controller connected; did not seem to fix issue. Did a xbox on controller update, still issue....weird...did that brick a good controller?

Yes Elite is probably too expensive to join right now.
I pledged at the start of the Kickstarter campaign up to alpha level just because I've been waiting 30yrs and this is my all time video game grail.

...buying the standard version now and the expansion pack is a good deal I think because it gets you access to all expansions forever. And the planned expansions are all the planets in the universe and the ability to leave the cockpit and walk around anywhere in game. Definitely worth it !

I plugged mine into my xbox one system with the usb cable and it synced back up via the wireless...well i used the controller to go to amazon prime on my Xbox 1 to watch a movie so I didn't use it for gaming or that long so maybe it is messed up with mine too.
