But that Battle Cat isn't real? I'm confused.

Autocorrect got the better of me. I meant that I'm happy with my cartoon heman but like the realistic looking battle cat. The two together might look odd, though. But I Xmas see getting the realistic looking heman.

He means the more modern/realistic look of he-man as opposed to the filmation look

You misunderstand me. ;) it was a retorical question as both are "real" versions of the characters. I am curious why he likes a 'real' Battle Cat yet not a 'real' He-Man.

Mythological cats are cooler than people, basically.

The only price Jerry from PCS mentioned was ~$900 for the He-man/Battle Cat exclusive combo. He said that was a special discounted price for the 2-pack and there would be an additional percentage discount for the pay in full option (typically 10-12% I think). The edition size for this combo was 350 but that's all subject to change. If I had to guess about individual retail prices, I would say Battle Cat will be $600 and He-man $400 and that would be before any discounts. We should know more at the next reveal though.

Even though PCS seems reputable and has a great rapport I'm very, very skeptical about handing over $700, $800 or $900 with a 12-24 month wait and no recourse if something goes bad.

No recourse?

Pretty sure if something went "bad", you can get your money back at the very least.

The delivery date is waaaay outside any bank/credit card protection deadline so you're relying upon someone else to do the right thing.

Again not saying PCS will ever do this but I just don't trust anyone if the worst case scenario occurs

Same thoughts here. I feel like forking over that much for something I won't be seeing in a year or two a little difficult. Especially since we don't even know when the release date will really be. Much prefer sideshow's payment scheme.

From what I understand, you don't have to pay right away, that's only if you want the 15% discount.

Also, it's still much safer to order directly from the first party company rather then through a third party distributio anyway..

If you pay all upfront you get the full discount.

You can also pay in installments or put down a deposit and pay the rest when it ships.

I've paid in full numerous times with PCS for the big discount and I've been happy every time. At best they replace parts for free or at the very worst they refund you completely including shipping.

I'll probably go with the monthly payment plan. At $855, it's still a great deal.

And WHOA, Eamon! You're doing the art print on this thing? Now I'm excited. Can't wait to frame it behind these beauties!

Could this be another PCS Streetfighter/MK Pre Order free for all!?!?!! :gah: Will the He-Man and BC Combo sell out in minutes?!?! :thud:

I for one ain't taking no chances...i've got 3 buddies on standby to try and secure me some essential He-Man goodness...now to pray the website dont play up! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! :horror
