That is quite a pose for a life size piece, not sure how well that is going to sell.

Just a little behind the scenes on what goes on during the sculpt process of turning a 2D image into a 3D statue. So for our life size bust of Jordan in the 2D poster image Jordan's chin is tucked. We matched the front view, but during the sculpt process we saw this caused a turkey neck kind of view. Just to make sure it wasn't just the screen view, we end up printing life size to see in person. And the 3D print confirmed our suspicions and it actually looked even worse in person. These are early sculpt images, but wanted to show you what I mean about the side view.

One of processes of art directing these pieces in making sure the statues look good from all angles. So there are certain decisions we have to make. Hope that helps.

Up for pre-order at Sideshow for $3105. I don't know how you do a life size bust and completely miss on the head sculpt...If this was better, I'd consider getting it and a high-end mannequin and making a full life size piece. That would actually be pretty cool. This, aside from the head sculpt miss, would be a difficult piece to display...
