is that the eyebrows too thin? and the iris too large, should reveal more white under it.

This is what Jerry said :

We are going to do a little more work to the hair after the show - but it won't be changed before the preorder

We aren't changing anything else

agree, the facial likeness is there, just need to thin the hair at the back, follow the contour of the neck.

This looks great, besides the already said issues of the hair. I do agree with what is being said about the eyes though, I think if they were painted slightly smaller to reveal more white underneath, it would bring out the likeness more. As of right now the Iris's are too large almost making him look cartoony. The muscle proportions might be a tad exaggerated, but it looks awesome none the less. Since Jerry has an account on SF, someone who has an account over there should mention the inaccurate chest scarring. I don't think he'd be against fixing something that minor if he was aware of the issue.

You are right, I'm no photoshop pro, and I may have made them too small, but the likeness shines through when the iris is smaller...

Better than what I could've done. That does look much better though Brian.

I know that but I was referring to an earlier comment :

"Painted Rambo just arrived !

He will for sure be done for Wondercon

I might tweak the face sculpt a tiny bit after the show. Just two minor things I feel i can improve on.
"

I think the facial features are all too symmetrical as well.
It's a defining feature of Stallone that both sides of his face don't really match up (supposedly from a difficult birth and foreceps injury by the doctor)

Could be the photograph, but the arrow looks extremely oversized. I love the way the base looks. It would be really cool if they cast the water in a translucent resin.

If they did something similar to this for the water that would add to the overall realism.

The paint job on this looks absolutely stunning.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the way this turned out. Agree with everything that's been said over the last couple of pages though. Reduce the size of the iris, fix the hair and use translucent resin for the water and this would be absolutely perfect IMO.

What's crazy to me about this piece is thinking about the sheer size.

The Legendary Bust of Rambo is 1/3 scale, and 12" tall, wrapping my head around the idea of a full bodied statue where the head and arms are that big is mind blowing.

Even if affordable, I'm not sure where I could put this thing.

Rambo alone is going to be around 24" tall, then add the base, this is easily 3 feet tall.

I think Jerry said he would be 38" tall.
