PCS: RoboCop 1/3

I love the paint on the Robocop 2 version. However I wish there was the option to give him his auto-9. Maybe there will be…?

Maybe as a deluxe edition? We will see.

That video made the problem more glaring. The helmet itself is too long vertically, the visor itself needs to be much smaller as well.

Agree. Helmet proportion is slightly off but the visor is quite noticeable, too wide. The body armour color is awesome, just as I remember it in the movie.

The rifle needs a lot of work, looks cheap and light, needs to have that heavy looking feel.

Yeah helmet proportions need an overhaul. Just looking at the indent and visor alone, gives me double patty hamburger vibes. It's a shame as everything else looks great.

This is the reason why I am still hesitating. Don't know if it's worth it because of that. And nobody knows if they going to overhaul the helmet or not. I like the preview regarding their RoboCop 2.

Do you guys think Prime 1 eventually will make RoboCop? Also if they do probably they will make a Murphy head and it will be more expensive than this.

I'm not sure they will tweak it. They'll need to get feedback from many collectors otherwise they'll just get on with business. If no one gives them feedback, they most certainly won't change a thing.

I don't think they will go 1/2 as the world economy is not looking good. But 1/3 prime would look great, pair it with Terminator 2 or predator. I can imagine prime 1 would include a ton of switch outs.

The other option is to wait until hot toys come out and see their paint app. If good, can get that for now as its cheaper and play the long wait game.

I'm going to pass on this due to space, but as you mentioned, Robocop statues will soon be extinct, I'm may put all my eggs into the hot toys one as its smaller and takes less space. I would love to own 1/3 or even 1/2 if I had the space as robo is such a cool character but need the little space left for maybe primes 1/3 endo or 1/3 t-1000. I may even pass on that as I don't have any place to put it lol.

Though I feel more pressured on missing out on a good robocop statue as I already have a good endo.

I started collecting 1/3 and I am planning to mainly stick with this size for my favorite movies. Also I am not fan of the Oniri's pose so I will skipping that one. Overall IMO PCS looks better. Which one do you like better between the two? Good to hear about your endo!

Hands down PCS. Though I'm a little bias because I prefer the blueish purple of robo 2. I think PCS did a flawless job and it looks very nice. They need to make sure the weapons look hyper real and high quality. I think that's critical otherwise it just looks like a toy (you will notice JH uses real blades, it looks and feels like another level when they go premium with weapons). Also oniri used silicon for the face which is pointless for robocop, prefer polystone any day of the week.

I do like the Oniri's one, also the fact its 1/4 scale, and yeah I do think the silicon mouth was not needed on this, maybe made it a bit cheaper without silicon. Couldnt find a UK distributor so gave up on it, contacted Oniri but they never responded so thought forget it then.

I POd the oniri 1/4 Terminator and was meant to receive it by now but it looks to be delayed to at least end of the year. Ended up cancelling the PO as its likely that statue won't be ready until at least another year, way to long to wait for 1/4 scale statue. I think they don't even begin production for their 1/4 scale lines until most are sold out, so God knows how long that will take!

The helmet shape is off. It’s too long vertically, which in turn makes the visor oversized as well.
