Yeah, PJ > Nirvana because Eddie Vedder didn't blow his face off. He grew up and learned how to deal with fame. Hate all you want but I'm old enough to remember what a self loathing douche Kurt Cobain was and whether he liked it or not, Nevermind was their greatest album and musical legacy. Never understood the comparisons between Nirvana, PJ, and STP. In Utero sucked. Pearl jam, on the other hand, went on to release a few more classic albums after Ten.
If you ever see Pearl Jam in concert, they are one of the greatest live bands out there.
