Re: "People are dying Alfred...what would you have me do?" Custom 1/6 TDK Armory
I really appreciate all the support - thanks guys.
Still being relatively new to 1:6 and with not too many customs under my belt, it feels great getting the positive feedback.
That is pretty fantastic! I'm impressed by your ability to craft this on a modest budget - especially given how expensive these kinds of things can turn out to be.
I'm especially appreciative of your use of real, 1/6 weapons (mini-mines, batarangs, etc.), rather than just printouts. That is a key element, in my opinion.
Thanks haytil. Estimating the cost, I'd say less than $50 for supplies, not counting the V1 Batman and accessories. Using the real weapons was always my intention, as well as having them countersunk in the compartments, staying true to the film.
that is incredible. i can only imagine the level of work that went into this
Thanks man. It took many many hours and lot's of trial and error...as well as solid advice.
He'd need a second DX02, to put in his armory as well!
Or a V1! I bought a loose DX02 for the armory, but once I got it, I decided to build a second DX Batman for display and hung the V1 in the closet
I want that really bad. I'd pay $150 for it.
i would definately be interested in one of these if there were any up for grabs ??
wow!!!!!!!! amazing work man!!
i would buy one off you for sure!!!!!!!
Thanks guys. Unfortunately I won't be building any more of these. I have very limited time to work on these projects and this actually took months to complete. Plus, as soon as I start selling these, the build process gets a lot less fun, more like work. If you're interested in building one yourself, I'd be happy to advise.
This is up there with 1mod6's version for sure
Thanks buddy! However, I can't quite match his technical precision and screen accuracy. I'm pretty passionate about TDK and I tried to put a lot of heart into this. 1mod6 was a big help and being compared to him is an honor.
A few more pictures for fun:
