Re: PeteSkywalker's 1/6 Customs - Bill The Butcher WIP

Stunning Pete! :clap

The clothing tailored by yourself?

Re: PeteSkywalker's 1/6 Customs - Bill The Butcher WIP

Wow, nice work Pete! Dare I say I think I'm preferring the custom Bills put together by the likes of yourself, Seb and Slimer more than the actual fullset. The choice of bodies and weathering really add a lot. :duff

That's truly great work there on the butcher Pete :clap

Re: PeteSkywalker's 1/6 Customs - Bill The Butcher WIP

Thanks for all the comments guys I think this has been my most popular post yet :lol

wow...nice...from whom you bought your head? ... I'd buy!

It’s was purchased directly from Rainman buy Blitzout. I’m not shore if it’s for sale anymore, best contacting rainman directly or posting in the WTB section.

Wow man, that is great looking! What body are you using?

Thanks man, it’s a hybrid of the advanced and the narrow shoulder body with some mods and custom sculpting.

Stunning Pete! :clap

Thats right :wink1:

Thanks Marf, I agree with characters like Bill they need lots of weathering and personal touches to make them feel more real. Imo the fullset is to clean so looks dool like.
No offence to those who own it but this guys a butcher so he would be covered in blood and grime.

I am fortunate enough that Blitzout gave me a lot of creative control. There is nothing more frustrating than a pm saying I want you to make a exact copy of this artist :lol

Re: PeteSkywalker's 1/6 Customs - Almost Finished Deadpool Full Figure

Been a while for a update but i will have some new stuff to show within the next 2 weeks as i have had a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes.

Here is a Wip update for my buddy Blitzout, i am really enjoying making this guy :)

wow pete, really nice stuff...:clap

Re: PeteSkywalker's 1/6 Customs - Painting Update

Not had a update for a while as I have been working on commissions and been doing things behind the scenes for WGP.

Thought you guys (esp blitzout) might like to take a look at how I am progressing my transparent skin tones.

The paintwork looks a lot better in hand but I think I have mastered the Com-Art paints the Nathan recommended to a satisfactory level.

I will be painting all new paint jobs with these but these paints are expensive for us guys across the pond so those who have had quotes from me in the last few weeks may have noticed a slight increase but it results in a better finished product :)

Re: PeteSkywalker's 1/6 Customs - Painting Update

Looking good man :duff

Cheers mate, i will be sending a few Ash parts your way next week BTW :wink1:

That's the ticket pete 👏👏

Well done!

Thanks, taking a look at the skin tone on your bill was a big help :hi5:

All bill needs now is his eagle eye and I will be using those new paints to weather the jacket soon :)

Re: PeteSkywalker's 1/6 Customs - Painting Update

Sweet! I actually got a small package in the mail from the UK today... for a moment I thought it was the harness; sad when it wasn't.

But knowing it's coming soon takes away the pain :rock

Sorry for the disappointment :lol

Harness was finished a while ago but kept it for when the shirts are done. A bit more weathering and they will be on there way :wink1:

Re: PeteSkywalker's 1/6 Customs - Painting Update

Sweet... no worries on the time frame. I knew you were working on quite a few things. And the package was still a good one (some boots I needed) but I had a twinge of "Ash will be done today!!!" that was a bit sad :lol

BTW, with the new paints you're using... does it add a significant amount of time to how long a head takes you? I'm not familiar with these at all, but seems a lot guys swear by them.

No worries I will still get them done ASAP as I have a few things planned for early next year so want to get my back log done :)

With the new paints I would say if you already mix up your own paints it takes the same time.
I would recommend using a airbrush as they will blend better but it's still possible to use a brush.

If you give them a go feel free to pm me for painting tips. The hardest part is working out the mixtures but i can give you a bump start as you are a friend :wink1:

Sent you a PM Pete.

Reply sent :hi5:

Sorry mate I really need to plan when I post better. I usually post on a Friday as its my day off then I get a influx of pms but the trouble is I spend the weekend with my girlfriend and she gets crabby if I spend more than 5 minutes on here.
So most people end up waiting till Monday for a reply :rotfl

I think I should start saving my Friday stuff and post it on Monday :lol

Re: PeteSkywalker's 1/6 Customs - Announcement

Hey guys just to let you know that I will off the forum for the next week due to personal issues. I will get back to all pms next week but just need some time to relax and clear my head.

I have contacted the majority of existing customers but if I have missed anyone do not worry just send me a pm and i will get back to you shortly.

Thanks Guys :peace
