Looks much better now

I know right... in true 1/6 size all the detail looks great, but if its 6 inches tall on my screen of course I'll see very stray line and slightly oblong iris

And I'd also agree with that... a bit bigger is good and can show off the work. But sometimes people post images of a staggering size which tends to distort the already good work

Noted i think i will post medium sized pictures for heads and save the bigger ones for full figures

Here is a update i have been dying to show for ages and now i finally can.

Its just a head for now but it will eventually be a full figure for BlitzOut. We will be making a bloody bill form the start of the film.

A big thank you to Greggo and SilentSurfer who have both given my tips directly or posted in there threads. I think its great that both of them being established artist are still willing to share some secrets with us newbs

Thanks guys he was probably one one of my easiest paint ups

I layered him with coats of paint mixed with matt varnish to give the the material effect.

Speaking of paints i have just ordered some of the transparent Com-Art paints that Nathan uses so cant wait to test them out
