MaulFan those are amazing! You deserve a thread of your own.

So . . .

. . . Anybody wanna start one in the other forums? I'd start one in the LOTR section, but I don't have any pics. I'll let somebody with something to contribute start it.

I'm all for it Cap, but LOTR being dark and having a great deal of simulated lighting, is actually fairly complicated to photoshop and find good stills to work with, at least that's what I found with Fellowship Aragorn, and I kinda turned my back on doing LOTR this way after that, never thought to with Legolas or Boromir, perhaps I'll look at it again.

MaulFan---is there a way to get the stills directly off of the movie?-- Let me rephrase... How do you do that???:rotfl

Special screen capture software, but I'm on Macintosh, I don't know what Windows softwares are out that can do the same.

Yeah I figured that; there's so much affected lighting I guess it would be really difficult. It could be a really cool challange though, and I bet if anybody could do it you can. One thing your pics do well is that they show how great the figures look with just the factory paint job. I really hope you look into LOTR images bro. There are never enough LOTR pictures--not for me anyway.

Man I love the shots of Darth Maul--what a great character!

Thanks...

There's reason #42 why I have to get a Mac... (grumble grumble grumble)

Awesome stuff MaulFan and Sith Lord 0498--- exactly what I was hoping for when I started this thread.

You're welcome. It's fun dusting off the old pics for display and showing off the new ones. That Jango bust is frickin' awesome, and the quality of the sculpt and paint ended up doing most of the work for me. :)
