This is a refreshing change from all the Zombie ____ people are digging these days.

Will Jaws ever make a come back?, not that i want to see that licence butchered any further then it's already have.

Best part of the trailer was at 5:41 mmmmmm.

In the original/older piranha movie there was some laboratory breeding or something and I'm guessing this is the same or some dinosaur-age piranha, not your average piranha.

yea, i think an earthquake or whatever releases these "prehistoric" piranhas, i guess thats why they are so pissed? :dunno. Now I'm curious what prehistoric piranhas really look like, if they existed at all.

you know Jaws will get redone eventually, its inevitable

you know my stance. death to 3D.:lol

I think for crap like this 3D is a must. Avatar showed us 3D can be used for somehthing other then a gimmick....but to be honest, that's all 3D is. It's a gimmick. A movie like Piranha is a gimmick movie. It's got a silly plot, lots of boobs, cheese, and gore. It's ment to be stupid fun.

And with 3D, it'll be even better, lobbing ____ into the audiences faces. It's the perfect movie to be in 3D!

3D will filter itself out soon enough. It'll then only be used when it should be. As a gimmick.

Thier not really intimadating. Piranahs dont just attack unless you bleed same with sharks. Thier actually more afriad of humans then anything.

Tell that to the poor goldfish that I saw ripped to scales in the blink of an eye. This was a large sized feeder goldfish, around 4-5".

I think if you get a large enough school together, they may not be afraid of eating a human, or a cow, as a team coordinated effort.

I wouldn't get in any water where there may be piranha in the water too.

The more you know :wink1:

The ones in this movie must of not had a descent meal in thousands of years :lol. I wouldnt wanna swim with them, but to think ppl dont have any problems swimming when they know sharks share the same waters. I couldnt find one case where a piranha attacked a human that became a serious injury.

I'm more afraid of alligator snapping turtles and alligator gar than I am of piranha. Any animal that has alligator in its name is usually something I don't want to mess with.

Here in Florida we have all of those nasty things (save for piranhas) and they're definitely not to be taken lightly. Every once in a while you'll hear about someone attacked by an alligator, more rarely snapping turtles - but even they can sever fingers, toes, and hands. :monkey1

this looks like the best movie of the summer, hands down. blood, gore, boobs...it can't get much better

Yeah I like this too, liked the original piranha film in my youth and scared the bejesus out of me like jaws did.
Whether it is based in fact or not I would'nt take the chance of swimming with the little devils.

Gory mindless and naked women plus matt hooper gotta be a hit;)

my biggest worry is that we just saw all the best parts of the budget. the rest will be rife with bad acting and little substance other than the naughty bits. i think I'll pass. If i need to see it again, i'll just watch the trailer.
