Yep I get that. That is why I said the Hulk isn't a lot bigger and that they are about the same size ...
. In fact the Skaar PF is taller then the Hulk Maq. Now I know that is his sword, but he is also bent over.
However, he is not SO much smaller than the Hulk so as to warrant the $275 price difference between the PF and Maq, and isn't that markup mostly the Legacy name?

I ask because I pre ordered the Hulk maquette & the price difference between it & Skaar is quite a bit. I thought it was simply because it was from Avengers, but now I hear the "Legacy" name has something to do with it?

Well all the other Marvel movie statue PFs are $300 LESS than the Maqs. Legacy is the effects studio that helped to design and do the effects for the Hulk in the Avengers movie. Now I am a noob, but their statues seem to have a significant mark up.

Ahhh, "Legacy" is not a type of collectible, but is actually referring to 'Legacy Effects' the studio. After your explanation & going back & reading the product summary for the maquette, I understand more. I guess both companies want to get paid nicely.

They are not depicted that way though. At least not often

Skaar is 6'6"
Hulk is between 7'-8', usually 7'6"

Even the original gray and green Hulk PFs? Better than the Doom PF? I don't care for any of those pieces. It would come as no surprise if I made that blanket statement. Coming from you, this is surprising. Especially since we haven't even seen the piece yet.

It wouldn't take much for him to be right in my book. As I said before, I'm not a big fan of those pieces. He is. I'll be elated if it turns out as good as Skaar or better.

Also "bent over ready to RAGE" sounds kinda wrong
I wasn't referring to Sideshows sweet looking Skaar statue. I was talking about the 6'6" height Peedi mentioned. He's basically Michael Jordan's heightyour height wouldn't be all that great either, if you were bent over ready to RAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah Doug. Just not a big fan of the Hulk PF. I like a more modern and raging Hulk. The PF just doesn't capture the Hulk I like. As for Doom, the cloth and seated pose didn't thrill me. Out of all the old grail pieces, Cap was the only one I struggled with. That was a kick ass PF of a character I love. The tights did that piece in for me. Computerfly did a INCREDIBLE custom job on that Cap PF and turned him into a fully sculpted piece. I would kill to have that statue. That is the Cap I wanted from the start.
I'm just waiting for the fully sculpted PFs of those characters to be released. I need a classic Thor, Cap, Hulk and Doom in 1/4 scale fully sculpted. Waiting on a fully sculpted Spidey worked out very well for me. I hope I have the same luck with the other pieces I mentioned.

Yeah I have Cap and that is a great statue, one of the best EX. features that ssc has ever made imo. not like the prints that seem to be the norm now.
