What if he's open edition? I've already got the avengers hulk preordered so another one would have to be really good for me to buy. If this has an edition size, the EX is worthy, and the sculpt/paintjob look top notch, it would be hard for me to pass up.

See this is the thing that I keep coming back to... order the Avengers ... or wait for this one. Heck at one point I was considering ordering the website exclusive Bowen Savage Hulk, and then I saw Skaar for $100 more and went NOPE ... now THIS ... double NOPE.

Just wait it out. If you like WW Hulk more than the maquette, then order WW Hulk. If you don't like the WW Hulk statue, then pick up the maquette. The maquette has an open ES. It's not like it's going to sell out anytime soon. You have time to choose whichever one you want to add to your collection.

if this is done properly and to proper scale, it should be around the price of the maquette if not more since it should be more detailed

If it is a PF and at 1/4 scale then it should be about the same size as Skaar. The WWHulk is not a lot bigger then his son. So the price should be the same as Skaar and the rest of the PFs.

Don't forget, there will be no Legacy markup for this piece. I think it'll come in under the maquette price. I think it'll be slightly higher than the regular PF prices. If I had to guess I'd say between $450-$500. I really can't see it being more than that.
