I bought and still have it at retail, I have about 20 other hulks too and in my opinion it's the highest quality hulk I own...

I have to disagree. It's the fault of the Ebay noob bidders who bid it up PRIOR to the last 60 seconds. Anyone that's been on Ebay even a small amount of time knows you rarely win an auction if you bid outside of the last 60 seconds.

I kind of agree with both points about the original PF. It is overpriced but only because it's scarce. I also do buy into what abananafarmer is saying about "hype"

You only need to look at CBG posts to realise this is the way collecting is for a lot of people. Some people only want statue's if they are running out, wait list or just a really really scare thing. Collectors love nothing more than the chase. Getting the actual product is only the outcome of a series of massive drops in logic. Not that this is a bad thing. Some people just want items that nobody else has.

On the Hulk statue's - as many have been made, there is still no definitive Hulk for me. The movie MAQ version was close but the paint and sculpt let it down. It could have been a grail and at $600+ it should have been better.

Gladiator Hulk I love the sculpt and paint. If you could strip off the shield and helmet I think it would be pretty close.
