I'm sorry, but I think it's pretty damn funny how many people are whining about the ES of both versions. The Planet Hulk saga is what really brought me back to comics and honestly, the exclusive is a must for this piece. No way in hell am I canceling.

As much as I love Sideshow I have to call them like I see them: high ES on exclusives will kill the hobby. The edition sizes keep creeping up slowly but surely. 900 Ex is inexcusable for this piece for a damn hat. Not everyone MUST own the hat. The very nature of an exclusive is to "exclude" a certain amount of people from owning an item. At 900 ES, who exactly is missing out on this??? You are guaranteed to pick one up on ebay for a cheaper price.

So I ask: is this Sideshow Collectibles or Sideshow Cool Stuff? Not collectible = No urgency to buy at full retail right away. That traslates to a decrease excitement on the overall collecting community. I am not talking about the hardcore that hang out here and have orgasms about Planet Hulk. I am talking about the community of customers as a whole.

I am as excited about cool upcoming releases as the next guy, but unless you have unlimited funds you have to be smart about when to buy $200-300 statues that could go for less. Not to mention prioritize what must be had now because it is truly limited.
