Our 11 year old started watching the show on Netflix and now wants the combined lions for his birthday. Anyone know an online place that has these in stock? We checked the local Target, Walmart, and Toys R Us and nothing and these things are $40+ on Amazon!

Did everyone hear that Playmates is releasing more figures from the new series? They will be making the pilots next, along with Zarkon and another Robeast. They also have a line of huge lions coming that the figures fit into. Not scale, but fun for the kids. And for the older fans they have a wave of Diecast Lions that will combine to form a 9" Voltron. I don't think the proportions will be any better than the current combiner but it will be metal, so there's that. Here is the vid:

Thanks, someone sent me a PM with the preorder link from "Entertainment Earth" and I preordered them from there. It sucks that he won't get them in time for his birthday, but it is what it is. His grandmother bought him the black lion off Amazon...no clue how much of a scalper price she paid.

Saw the new wave out and about! The Black Lion is eluding me since Target doesn’t have any way to track it since their Dpci number is the same as the the legendary voltron ones!

They are close to the Gx-71 mold but bigger!

17.99 each way cheaper than online retail, they are asking 88.99 at BBTS but at target was 71 for all. The black lion retails at 29.99
